Congratulations to TRUE FIGHT FAN Promotions on their 16th show! Already established as a first class venue, tonight was no exception! Action-packed 18 great bouts featured this evening, featuring knock-outs, awesome submissions and warriors going the distance. Fans once again got what they came for ~ outstanding performances by warriors ready to rumble. The only losers were folks who didn't make it here tonight!
Results as Follows:

  1. Middleweight
    Neal Fletcher Vs Ted Kuether
    Kuether gets the takedown to start the bout trying to get past Fletcher's guard, but Fletcher pulls him in tight. Kuether lands some body shots trying to make room for ground and pound. Kuether lands a solid right, left combination forcing Referee Bud Johnson to step in for a closer look as Fletcher is clearly on the take. Referee Johnson stops the bout.
    WINNER: KUETHER by TKO (Referee Stoppage due to Strikes) at 2:25 of Round One.

     
  2. Featherweight
    Brandon Holmes Vs Chad White
    This was a fast and furious bout as White starts this battle with a solid right leading to a double leg takedown. He immediately moves in for some ground and pound. Both fighters manage to get back to their feet, but White cinches in a tight guillotine forcing Holmes to submit!
    WINNER: WHITE by TAP OUT (Guillotine) at :22 of Round One.

    Eric Caward Vs Nick Hunt
    Hunt lands a left right; Cawerd answers with a blow then body slams Hunt. Hunt spins around giving Cawerd his back, but both fighters manage to get back to their feet. Hunt lands a left, answered by Cawerd's right. Hunt slams a knee, right/left punch, followed by a body slam double leg by Cawerd. Hunt zooms in for the guillotine, cranks hard and forces Cawerd to submit!
    WINNER: HUNT by TAP OUT (Guillotine) at :52 of Round One.

     
  4. Featherweight
    Eric Kelce Vs Corey M. Johnson
    Kelce lands a round kick to the body, then a leg kick. Johnson shoots in for the takedown and Kelce manages to get back to his feet. Kelce attempts a guillotine and it looks like it just might work, but Johnson is relentless in his escape. Both fighters return to their feet and immediate grapple in the center of the ring, exchanging knees in the process. Johnson cinches in a guillotine and Kelce sweeps a takedown, but Johnson maintains his pressure on the choke. Kelce manages to get the top position and the crowd is chanting as this round comes to an end. Johnson comes out hard for round two throwing a near miss left hand, swiftly placing Kelce into a guillotine and tossing Kelce to the ground. Johnson slides right into the rear naked position, cinches tight and forces Kelce to submit!
    WINNER: JOHNSON by TAP OUT (Rear Naked Choke) at :31 of Round Two.

    Brandy Partridge Vs Tara Martin
    Martin and Partridge exchange rights then Martin goes for the takedown, landing more rights to the side of Partridge's head. Martin is on the bottom attempting to get in a guillotine. Partridge holds on for a while, but Martin cinches tight forcing Partridge to finally submit!
    WINNER: MARTIN by TAP OUT (Guillotine) at 1:33 of Round One.

    Nathaniel Bernal Vs Travis McEnaney
    Both fighters throw furious lefts and miss, but Bernal follows with a round kick that lands. McEnaney gets a right hand to the side of his head in answer to a missed spin side kick as the crowd reacts. McEnaney gets the takedown with Bernal in the guard, and McEnaney gets past his guard looking for room for ground and pound. Bernal spins out and attempts an armbar, moving to a sidemount. McEnaney attempts a guillotine, but Bernal adjusts and gets free landing a powerful left forcing Referee Johnson to stop this bout!
    WINNER: BERNAL by TKO (Referee Stoppage due to Strikes) at 1:52 of Round One.

     
  7. Bantamweight
    Brad Parn Vs Steven Cox
    Cox starts this bout landing a couple of lefts, answered by a left right by Parn. Cox locks him up and Parn attempts a knee to the face and a slam, but Cox escapes. Both fighters looking to land some blows in the stand up position. Parn again attempts a take down again and Cox stops him. Parn manages to get to the top position landing a few rights. Both fighters stand and Cox lands a solid knee, followed by a straight left to Parn's face. Parn steps in attempting a takedown, Cox slips in a triangle arm bar, but Parn escapes. The fighters exchange some solid blows, Cox a hard uppercut answered by Parn's jabs. Cox lands a blow and both fighters stand up. Parn attempts a guillotine as both fighters return to the mat. Cox finds a way out of the guillotine attempt and both fighters get back to a stand up position and Cox gets Parn into a head crank, landing some knees to Parn's face. Cox gets a slamming takedown, Parn gives his back and Cox takes advantage quickly cinching in a tight rear naked choke forcing Parn to submit. The crowd loved this action!

    Ryan Smith Vs Wes Miller
    Miller's round kick connects with Smith's body. Smith avoids a kick, but is caught by a third kick by Miller followed by a left, right hand. Smith ties him up as they grapple against the cage. Miller lands two strong blows, one to the body, one to the head, followed by another right and left and a knee to Smith's face. Smith relentlessly goes after the takedown; Miller is attempting to work in a triangle, but Smith slams him to the mat. Still pursuing the triangle, Smith escapes and goes in for the finish with powerful blows forcing Miller to verbally submit.
    WINNER: SMITH by VERBAL SUBMISSION (Strikes) at 1:55 of Round One.

    Tim Collins Vs John Orr
    Collins lands a hard leg kick, but Orr grapples in as the fighters trade knees. Orr is relentless with his knees and pins Collins against the fence. Collins swiftly reverses, pinning Orr against the fence. Orr lands some solid shots to Collins' body. Collins gets a solid take down on Orr, moving to the top position looking for some ground and pound. Collins manages some effective ground and pound but Orr keeps his guard tight. Referee Johnson stands these powerhouses up and Orr lands some smashing blows to Collins' head, followed by a knee and a solid, hard right, raining down a series of blows forcing Referee Johnson to step in and stop this war!
    WINNER: ORR by TKO (Referee Stoppage due to Strikes) at 3:41 of Round One.

    Jacob Wolf Vs Derrick Shanks
    Wolf lands a couple of rights, but Shanks answers with a solid right. Wolf responds with a sweeping takedown, Shanks gives his back as Wolf moves in for the rear naked choke. Shanks escapes and the fighters return to stand up. Shanks lands a right, Wolf responds with a right as these fighters exchange power blows as the fighters grapple up. Shanks has his chin high enough to catch Wolf's rights, followed by a few well-placed knees by Wolf. The fighters stay busy as they trade shots, both fighters have their hands just low enough to keep the crowd roaring as it can be anyone's win right now. Shanks throws a jab, right, and takes Wolf back to the mat, working toward a guillotine, but Wolf swiftly moves to a full mount and puts Shanks in a bad position to receive some sharp ground and pound. Shanks attempts to bridge but only receives more ground and pound. Shanks continues to try to escape as Wolf slides in an armbar at the bell to end this action-packed round.
    Round two starts with a bang as Wolf lands a solid round kick, followed by an overhand right. Shanks catches another right on the beard as the crowd roars. Wolf lands another round kick, answered by Shanks right hand. Wolf staggers Shanks with a right, but Shanks recovers with an uppercut, Wolf comes back with another right, leg kick, right combination, but Shanks closes the gap. The fighters grapple up as Wolf cinches in an Armbar forcing Shanks to submit to end this battle.
    WINNER: WOLF by TAP OUT (ArmBar) at 1:22 of Round Two.

    Ryan Pederson Vs Thomas Higgins
    Pederson throws a leg kick, Higgins answers with a right hand as these fighters grapple up into the cage. Pederson swiftly goes for the takedown, but Higgins ends up on top! Higgins looks for room for ground and pound, but Pederson slips out the back door and reverses the position. Higgins pulls guard, but Pederson is looking to get past. Higgins attempts an armbar, but Pederson quickly pulls out. The crowd loves this action. Pederson gets past Higgins guard, moving to a side mount. Higgins goes for the triangle again, but Pederson slips out moving to the full mount. Higgins lands a right, then spins around, giving Pederson his back. Pederson goes for the rear naked choke, but Higgins manages to defend. Pederson cinches in tight, forcing Higgins to submit to end this fast and furious bout!

    Chris Henning Vs Wesley Riley
    Henning jumps in landing several quick lefts, dropping Riley to the mat to end this fight!

    Chris Bennett Vs Jon Ott
    These fighters are primed and ready to battle as this war begins. Ott comes out landing a stiff left jab, followed by a double leg takedown. Bennett attempts a guillotine, but Ott slips out, moves to a full mount and immediately begins some ground and pound, forcing Referee Johnson to stop this bout!
    WINNER: OTT by TKO (Referee Stoppage due to Strikes) at :25 of Round One.

    Billy Jones Vs Tim Horner
    Adrenaline is still flowing fast as Jones rushes out landing a right, gets a hip toss into a takedown, swiftly moves to a full mount and lands a solid right and left hook! Both fighters get to their feet. Then Jones lands a solid right, dropping Horner to the mat to end this fight in less than 1/2 a minute!
    WINNER: JONES by TKO (Referee Stoppage due to Strikes) at :29 of Round One.

     
  15. Lightweight
    Josh Bernal Vs William Joplin
    Bernal throws two hard, stiff, fast jabs, followed by a right that connects with intent. Bernal then slams a knee that drops Joplin, but phased, Joplin has enough presence of mind to try to get right back up, giving Bernal his back. Bernal lands some ground and pound then both fighters go to standing. Joplin attempts a hip toss, but Bernal defends well. The crowd is really into this action as Joplin gets a single leg takedown, but Joplin can't get past Bernal's tight guard. Bernal gives Joplin his back as Joplin attempts a rear naked, but Bernal slips out and attempts a successful reversal, Bernal moving to the full mount. Joplin gives Bernal his back, and Bernal is attempting to get his hooks in to sink in a rear naked choke. Joplin somehow slips his head out, so Bernal attempts to soften him a little with a few lefts and rights, again sinking in a rear naked, but again Joplin slips out. As the fighters stand, Bernal lands a knee ending this outstanding round!
    Round two starts with Joplin's attempt as the aggressor, but Bernal gives him multiple knees for his trouble ~ landing Joplin in trouble up against the cage. Bernal throws another few knees, pinning Joplin against the cage, landing a left/right. Joplin staggers, eats a knee, then gets the takedown on Bernal! Bernal escapes, moving to guard as Joplin attempts to get around the guard for some ground and pound, but Bernal continues to defend well. Bernal reverses, gets the full mount, and rains down some ground and pound, taking Joplin's back, landing more blows to Joplin's head. Joplin attempts to get to his feet, but Bernal continues his ground and pound, landing some knees at the bell!
    Round three starts with a bang as the fighters exchange blows, again with Bernal getting the majority of connections, including a series of uppercuts and knees to the face, followed by a round kick to the face, with more uppercuts, right hands, knee strikes, but Joplin gets another quick takedown! Joplin attempts a guillotine, but Bernal escapes. Joplin continues to pursue the guillotine, Bernal gives Joplin his back, and Joplin throws some ground and pound of his own. Bernal pulls guard, as Joplin tries to find a way through. Bernal cinches in a triangle armbar, but the bell ends this war as we go to the judges scorecards!
    WINNER: BERNAL by UNANIMOUS DECISION, 29/28, 30/27, 29/28.

     
  16. Middleweight
    Andrew Waters Vs Mike Carrasco
    Both fighters come into this battle with solid striking ability ~ especially good hands. Waters proves this point as he immediately hits Carrasco with a solid, powerpacked right, that drops Carrasco to the mat! Waters takes advantage, jumping swiftly into a side mount. Carrasco attempts to stand up, but Waters works some solid uppercuts, as Carrasco escapes. The fighters return to stand up as Waters connects with a right followed by a single leg takedown. Carrasco lands some rights, then gives Waters his back. Waters cinches in a rear naked choke forcing Carrasco to submit!
    WINNER: WATERS by TAP OUT (Rear Naked Choke) at 1:42 of Round One.

     
  17. CO MAIN EVENT BOUT
    Featherweight

    Troy Talavera Vs Mike Mitchell
    A solid kicker verses a solid grappler, Mitchell gets the takedown after Talavera lands a solid kick. Talavera working out of the guard, Mitchell stands and looks to secure a knee bar, but Talavera quickly reverses him. Mitchell moves to guard as Talavera works some ground and pound. Mitchell attempts a triangle. Talavera lands a left hook, right hand, answered by Mitchell's left hook. Talavera attempts a high kick, moving into a takedown on Mitchell. Talavera goes for the full mount, Mitchell pulls a tight guard. Talavera lands a body slam, left hand, again attempting to get into a full mount, but Mitchell defends well. Talavera is in the side mount as Mitchell attempts a guillotine, that Talavera peels away ending this round!
    Round two has the crowd roaring as Mitchell gets the single leg, quickly moving to a side mount. Talavera reverses! Mitchell attempts a triangle, but Talavera moves to a side mount and proceeds to do some effective ground and pound. Mitchell continues to pursue the triangle, but Talavera continues to slip. Mitchell defends Talavera's mount well, then reverses, trying to make room for ground and pound to end this action-packed round.
    Round three starts with both fighters attempting to exchange kicks that miss, as Mitchell gets the takedown, but Talavera is on top with Mitchell in guard. Talavera tries to get around guard, as these fighters are locked up on the floor, with Mitchell trying for a submission with Talavera trying for a clear, clean shot! Both fighters stand as Mitchell throws a high kick, answered by Talavera's right hand. Mitchell has another takedown, again with Talavera on top, Mitchell in guard. Talavera gets the full mount looking for room for some effective ground and pound. Mitchell reverses him off the cage, Talavera pulls guard as Mitchell attempts to get past his guard. A reversal by Talavera as both fighters are working really hard to the crowds delight - another reversal by Mitchell, as Talavera escapes. Mitchell goes after an ankle lock, attempted knee bar as Talavera escapes into stand up throwing strikes as this round ends! What a war! Excellent work by both fighters to bring an exciting bout to the ring as we go to the judges scorecards!
    WINNER: TALAVERA by UNANIMOUS DECISION, 29/28, 29/28, 29/28.

    Zach Nolen Vs Eric Marriott
    Marriott, current
    ISCF US Champion, comes out against undefeated Nolen, for what promises to be an exciting bout. The fighters exchange hard lefts, followed by an exchange of leg kicks! Marriott throws a right, answered by Nolen's left with both blows landing. Marriott gets a quick takedown, with Nolen against the cage. Nolen attempts to work a guillotine, cranking hard, but Marriott maneuvers out and into an ankle lock forcing Nolen to submit!

They put together a truly assume show in everyone's favorite venue Whiskey Tango's. A almost standing room only crowd witnessed an exciting night of action. One spirited submission grappling bout and 15 MMA bouts kept these fans on there feet most of the night. Results as follows:

This Ballroom style show brought a new image to this Promotional group. The new Ballroom show image did not leave the real True Fight fans disappointed one little bit. Look out Columbia! Chuck Wolfe, ISCF Representative: Phil Jones, Larry Reyes and the True Fight Fan crew put on another outstanding event. A near sold out crowd of 2,500+ packed into this venue to witness some great action. The matchmaking was top notch as well as the action on this Friday night East of Kansas City. Whiskey Tango, Grain Valley, MO, ISCF Representative Chuck Wolfe Once again facing a full house of hard core fight fans, these warriors took up the gauntlet and scored big! Hand to hand combat has really become fine-tuned in the CLASH events! Fighters were featured from some established training gyms such as the House of Pain, The Ultimate Fighting System and Ultimate Fitness. The fans are always the biggest winners ~ especially those who have experienced a full "dozen" of these exciting cards. The nights Main event was the first ever, ISCF Amateur World Title. no need to make you wait, so lets go right to the Main Event!

AMATEUR LIGHTWEIGHT
WORLD TITLE
Eric Marriott------ Vs ------*Joe Wilks
MISSOURI, USA--------------KANSAS, USA

Wilks attempts a leg kick, but Marriott steps cleanly out of the way. Wilks misses two more, as Marriott uses his footwork to move out of the path. Wilks lands a leg kick, followed by a solid high kick and Marriott responds with a couple of rights ~ the crowd reacting to both fighters connections! The fighters grapple up as Wilks moves Marriott against the cage landing a right kick to Marriott's face. Marriott gets his underhooks in working for position to land a knee. Wilks gets a double leg takedown, taking the top position. Wilks works for position, but Marriott rolls out. Wilks again attempts to gain position for a rear naked, but pulls out, then moves into position for the guillotine, cinching tight, forcing Marriott to submit!
WINNER: WILKS by REFEREE STOPPAGE (Guillotine) at 1:55 of Round One.

  1. AMATEUR FEATHERWEIGHT
    Mark Winfrey VS Calob Barnett
    Barnett starts this war with a couple of swift jabs, followed by a solid right that connects! The fighters grapple up quickly. Winfrey lands an uppercut, but Barnett responds with an uppercut of his own, then proceeds to jam Winfrey up against the cage. Winfrey throws a knee to Barnett's body. Barnett pursues a single leg takedown, but pulls out when he seizes the opportunity to land a knee to Winfrey's body. The crowd erupts as Barnett throws a few fast rights, followed by a hard right, connecting to the crowds applause. Winfrey quickly answers with a right hand, and Barnett connects with a a couple of fast knees to Winfrey's face. Winfrey turns his back to Barnett and the crowd cheers as Barnett slams Winfrey to the mat and moves into a full mount making room for some effective ground and pound. Referee Rob Kimmons watches closely as Barnett continues to strike, ultimately forcing Winfrey to submit! What a great way to start this fight card!

  2. AMATEUR HEAVYWEIGHT
    Tim Horner VS Tom Clark
    The next bout has some fast action by the heavyweights. Clark comes out landing a solid front kick and Horner answers with a front kick. Clark lands a leg kick and goes for a single leg takedown. Horner goes down but springs right back up. Clark moves in for an attempted guillotine with Horner slamming Clark against the cage, but Clark refuses to release the guillotine. Changing strategy, Clark releases and slams some hard rights to Hornors body. Living up to his ringname, the Pitbull, Clark is aggressive as he takes the top and cinches in a tight guillotine, forcing Horner to submit!
    WINNER: CLARK by TAP OUT (Guillotine) at 1:05 of Round One.

     
  3. AMATEUR LIGHTWEIGHT
    James Hollon VS Roger Partridge
    The third bout moves swiftly as Partridge lands a left hook, right hand combination, dropping Hollon to one knee. As Hollon gets back up Partridge knocks him down again with a hard right. Partridge takes the top on the mat as Hollon makes a grave error in judgement giving Partridge his back. Partridge seizes the opportunity to get his hooks in and slams some blows then cinches in a Rear Naked Choke forcing Hollon to submit! All this action in less than one minute! Good fight!
    WINNER: PARTRIDGE by TAP OUT (Rear Naked Choke) at :55 of Round One.

     
  4. AMATEUR FEATHERWEIGHT
    Owen Evinger VS Steven Cox
    This fight starts fast as Evinger comes out landing a couple of right hands followed by some knee strikes and a left hook. As the fighters separate Cox slams hard left hooks that causes the crowd to erupt as Evinger drops. But, Evinger isn't phased as he does a quick double leg working for some ground and pound. Cox quickly gets back up and Evinger slams him against the cage landing a knee to the head. Cox answers with a right hook to Evinger's head. The fighters go to standup and Cox lands a couple of blows as Evinger goes in for an attempted takedown; Cox gives him a solid knee for his trouble. Cox throws more knees that back Evinger up but he remains composed as both fighters throw wild rights that miss. Cox takes advantage of the miss by landing a blow and slamming Evinger against the cage. Cox lands another knee, but Evinger answers with a slamming takedown, working to get past Cox' guard. Evinger slams Cox against the cage landing a couple of rights, but Cox is defending well. The fighters return to a standup and exchange knees trying to find leverage for that "large shot". Evinger lands a left hook as he slams Cox against the cage, then the fighters exchange knees as these warriors hook it up giving it their all. The round ends with a knee exchange! As the round ends, Cox lands a knee to the liver then an unintentional knee to the face.
    Round two finds the fighters both looking for position to throw the knockout blow as they continue to exchange knees and strlkes. Evinger gets the first takedown of this round, looking for an advantage to get to a mount, but Cox holds him in tight refusing room for ground and pound. The action dies out for the first time in this fight as Referee Rob Kimmons is forced to stand the fighters back up. The fighters pick up the pace as they exchange mirrored right hands, left hooks! Cox slams Evinger against the fence landing some knees to the body. The crowd is so loud as these fighters rumble. Evinger does a sweeping takedown, putting Cox on the mat, moving to the full mount. Evinger does some ground and pound, but Cox bridges out and gets a reversal! Evinger pulls in a tight guard, but Cox manages to land a couple of blows, stacking Evinger up, but Evinger is attempting to gain position for a triangle as the round ends!
    These warriors are giving it their all as round three begins. Cox attempts to shoot, but Evinger spins him around and slams him into the cage. Cox isn't phased ~ he throws a knee, left hook and right hand in response. The fighters separate for a moment, then Evinger lands a short right as they clinch right back up. Evinger does a short sweeping takedown, taking the side mount. Cox is defending well against the attempted ground and pound. Evinger takes the full mount, as Cox tries to reverse giving Evinger his back. Evinger attempts to take advantage by trying to secure a rear naked, but Cox continues to defend well. Evinger maintains the superior position, but Cox has a solid defense. This superb action forces the Referee to go to the judges scorecard!
    WINNER: COX by MAJORITY DECISION, 29-28, 29-28, 27-30.

     
  5. AMATEUR MIDDLEWEIGHT
    Marcus Mack VS Julius Salas
    Mack starts this action with a solid jab! Salas is successful with a double leg takedown, taking the top position. Mack locks Salas up giving him no room. Mack reverses, taking the side mount, moving Salas against the cage. Mack goes after the Kamori, but Salas slips it, giving Mack his back. Mack takes full advantage, gaining the top position, looking for room to ground and pound or maneuver into a cinch. Mack spins Salas around, moving to a side mount, going after the arm, then successfully cinching in the Kamori forcing Salas to submit! Nice job!
    WINNER: MACK by TAP OUT (Kamori) at 2:48 of Round One.

     
  6. AMATEUR FLYWEIGHT
    Ryan Pederson VS Danny TIMS (Listed as Timmons)
    Tims comes out landing a right hand to the body. The fighters go to the mat as Tims gains the full mount, looking for room to ground and pound. Pederson escapes and stands. The fighters exchange blows and Pederson gets the takedown. Tims is the aggressor as he lands a few blows from the full mount. Pederson bridges and pulls in tight, defending well. The fighters stand and Tims is looking for a guillotine as the bell ends the round.
    Tims starts round two throwing a missed front kick, with Pederson answering with a right hand. The fighters grapple up and go to the mat. Tims again gets the riding time, throwing some ground and pound, then he changes strategy and goes for the Kamori. Pederson slips, reverses, and Tims reverses and works for the side mount. As the round ends, Tims is riding high landing some effective ground and pound, but Pederson is managing to keep his defense up. The fighters have maintained a solid pace throughout.
    Round three finds Pederson throwing the first kick, with Tims answering. Tims immediately takes Pederson down and finds the full mount. Pederson continues to defend well, but Tims is relentless with his pursuit. The bout ends going to the judge's scorecards for the outcome.
    WINNER: TIMS by UNANIMOUS DECISION, 30-27 on all 3 judges score cards.

     
  7. AMATEUR FEATHERWEIGHT
    Jack Thomas VS Adam Stickley
    Stickley lands a hard right, and Thomas responds with a hard right. Stickley lands a knee, Thomas goes to the ground and stands right back up. Thomas attempts a double leg, but Stickley defends well. As the fighters go to the mat, Stickley gets the full mount, landing some ground and pound. Thomas tries locking Stickley up with some underhooks, but Stickley jams Thomas against the cage, landing some rights and lefts straight down the middle of Thomas' guard. Thomas attempts a reverse, but gives Stickley his back. Stickley seizes the moment and tightens on a rear naked choke, forcing Thomas to submit! Quick action!

  8. AMATEUR WELTERWEIGHT
    Nathaniel Bernal VS Brian Kaeding
    This fight starts fast as Kaeding tries a left jab, answered by a couple of Bernal's left hands over the top. Bernal throws a leg kick, hard right hand combo, forcing the fight against the cage. These fighters grapple up as Kaeding lands a knee to Bernal's face, but Bernal just answers with a left cross, left leg round kick, followed by a couple of more solid lefts. Kaeding lands a kick to Bernal's body as the fighters grapple up. Kaeding lands a knee to the face, Bernal answers with a knee to the body, slamming Kaeding into the fence, landing more knees. Kaeding gets the underhooks in trying to defend Bernal's attack. As the fighters break apart they exchange blows. Then Bernal turns up the heat, landing some rights and lefts that stagger Kaeding and the crowd goes wild! The fighters grapple up and Bernal keeps the pressure on landing knees and Kaeding has the presence of mind to land a knee of his own, looking for a double leg, but finds no room. He's answered by a hard striking combination by Bernal that finds Kaeding on the mat again. Caught up in the action, Bernal lands a kick while Kaeding is still on the mat. Realizing Kaeding cannot continue, Referee Rob Kimmons steps in to enforce the rules - you cannot kick a fighter in the head while on the ground. The crowd, and we're sure the fighters, are upset by this unfortunate stop in action. Excellent show of technique prior to the foul.

  9. AMATEUR FLYWEIGHT
    Courtney Martell VS Brandy Partridge
    The ladies take the cage and come out grappling up. Martell lands some lefts as Partridge is moved up against the cage. Patridge uses her footwork to move away from the cage and lands a right knee to Martell's body. Martell answers with a takedown as Partridge moves into a full guard. Martell goes after some ground and pound, landing some solid left hooks followed by a strong right, and some knees. The fighters manage to stand back up and Martell attempts a guillotine. Martell draws a Referee warning for a low knee. Martell gets her focus back and lands a double leg takedown, and goes for some solid ground and pound, but Partridge escapes. Martell attempts another guillotine, and the fighters again stand. Martell continues her pursuit, landing some knees to Partridge's face, but Partridge connects with a right hand of her own! Martell gets another takedown and gets the full mount looking for some ground and pound. Partridge defends well and survives the round. Excellent action - the crowd is loud!
    Round two starts with a strong right leg round kick by Partridge, answered with a beautiful right hand by Martell that wows the crowd, taking Partridge to the mat! Martell takes the top going in for some solid ground and pound, and Partridge, unable to defend, submits!
    WINNER: MARTELL by TAP OUT (Strikes) at :41 of Round Two.

     
  10. AMATEUR FEATHERWEIGHT
    Jeff Nickerson VS Chad Vandenberg
    Taking the lead, Vandenberg throws a high round that Nickerson blocks. Vandenberg misses with a right and Nickerson closes in a grapples up, getting a takedown, dropping Vandenberg on his face. But, Vandenberg gets the top position, Nickerson pulls guard, and Vandenberg goes for the ground and pound. Nickerson shows good defense, but Vandenberg finds the room to stack Nickerson up, landing some lefts and rights. Nickerson pulls back in tight, as Vandenberg continues his pursuit past the guard. Vandenberg ends round one with some dominant riding time.
    Round two starts with a round kick to Vandenberg, but Vandenberg moves right in for the takedown, and goes back to the same position he held most of round one - Vandenberg on top, Nickerson on bottom. With Nickerson against the cage, Vandenberg throws some ground and pound. Nickerson tries to bridge out, but Vandenberg continues his attempted attack, but he's a bit too high in the mount and Nickerson continues to defend. Vandenberg adjusts the mount and Nickerson attempts to turn out, giving Vandenberg his back and an opportunity to cinch in a rear naked choke. Vandenberg takes total advantage of the situation, locking in tight, and forcing Nickerson to submit!

    Mike Showman VS Tyler Steffen
    Showman connects with a round kick to Steffens body to start this action. Steffen is wise to the next kick coming, as he catches it. Steffen takes advantage as he stacks up Showman and lifts him up and slams him to the mat! Steffen then repeats this action - stack, lift and slam! The crowd is loud! Steffen throws some rights over the top, past Showman's guard. Showman attempts an escape, but Steffen is relentless and won't give up any room. Showman isn't out yet as he does a smooth sweeping reversal that finds both fighters back on their feet. Showman lands a knee to the body and gets a takedown! Showman gets a reversal, trying for a rear naked, but Steffen quickly escapes and slams Showman to the mat. Steffen throws some effective ground and pound, forcing Showman to submit!

  12. AMATEUR LIGHTWEIGHT
    Joshua Freeman VS Alex Partin
    At the bell, Partin attempts a right hand as the fighters grapple up. Freeman lands some body strikes as the fighters roll aground up against the cage. Freeman attempts a guillotine, then releases as Partin moves to the top position in a half guard. Both fighters stand as Partin lands a right, Freeman misses with a right. The fighters grapple and Freeman gets a double leg slamming takedown and takes the top position attempting some ground and pound, getting past Partin's guard. Freeman spreads Partin out, but Partin defends well keeping Freeman close. Freeman ends round one on top! Spirited first round.
    Round two starts with Freeman's leg kick and a right hand exchange! Freeman gets a takedown, body slamming Partin to the mat. Freeman looks for ground and pound room, going from the body to the head. From the side mount, Freeman lands some knees to Partin's body but Partin gets a quick reversal, attempting to move to the full mount. Freeman looks for a knee bar, but Partin slips in an armbar, cinching tight, forcing Freeman to submit! Excellent exchange by these warriors!

    Shepard Owens brings to the cage a solid amateur ranking as #1, so the crowd is sure to be entertained with this action! His opponent is ready to rumble as these big warriors take the cage! Owens starts the action with a hard front kick, left hand. Bohl counters with a missed right hand, throwing another that Owens slips effectively. Bohl throws a couple of hard leg kicks, and Owens counters with a solid left, slamming Bohl hard to the mat. Bohl attempts an escape, giving Owens his back. Owens takes advantage connecting with some rights and lefts. Bohl gets back to his feet and throws a left, but Owens responds with a sweeping takedown. The crowd erupts as Owens takes the full mount zeroing in with some solid ground and pound! Hosting number 11, the promoters just continue to outperform their previous events, constantly improving the venue as the fighters constantly improve through experience! Each event has topped the previous event, so the fans are learning to look forward to these events with eager anticipation, knowing they are in for some real, powerful MMA entertainment! And, once again, the TRUE FIGHT FAN promoters deliver - with a bang!

  1. Light Heavyweight
    Jason Graves VS Roger Harris
    Graves slams a right hand and rocks Harris, moving in for a standing Rear Naked Choke, but Harris isn't giving up. Graves lands a couple of knees, pulls out of the Rear Naked attempt and begins landing rights and lefts. Graves continues to work lefts to Harris' head, landing a knee as the fighters break apart. Graves moves right back in with a kick and punch, then Harris manages to close the gap. But, Graves moves in swiftly and secures a tight guillotine, forcing Harris to submit! Great, fast action to start this night!

  2. Middleweight
    Michael Carrasco VS Michael Terrell
    The crowd is primed after the first bout, and these fighters enter the cage ready to rumble! The fighters circle and exchange hard rights. Carrasco throws some knees, but Terrell isn't phased, as they exchange solid blows again. Terrell throws a couple of jabs, followed by a hard right, and a couple of swift knee strikes. But Carrasco immediately answers back with an overhand right as these fighters are smokin' and the crowd is stoked! Carrasco lands more rights, and Terrell answers with a knee, left hook, right hand combo! Terrell moves in for the takedown, moving around for a back position. Both fighters are showing slight fatigue, well-earned from the hectic pace they've set! Terrell lands a few lefts to Carrasco's body, followed by a knee strike that wow's the crowd, but Carrasco throws some left and right bombs of his own. They exchange hard rights and grapple up against the cage as Terrell lands some upper cuts. Both fighters are clearly experienced with the striking game, but Terrell locks in to a takedown and lands on the bottom to end the round.
    Round two starts with a bang as both fighters are eager to finish this war, exchanging powerhouse rights! This is clearly war! Carrasco throws a couple of near misses, as does Terrell, then Terrell connects and slams Carrasco against the cage! The crowd is in a roar as Carrasco lands two vicious right hands, and Terrell takes him to the ground, swiftly climbing to a full mount and zoning in for some ground and pound payback! Terrell locks in a solid, tight armbar and begins to crank forcing Carrasco to submit! What a war - the crowd cheers both fighters!!!!
